With the victory, Sigourney improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Savages host Montezuma (Montezuma, IA) to confront the Braves in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Friday, December 16. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Montezuma won 69-13 in their recent league challenge against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Tri-County will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 35-33 league loss to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
