The Wolves now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Celeste for a 2A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, December 16. Wolfe City will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 40-16 league loss to Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-7.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX). The Rebels come into the 2A Region II District 14 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Sam Rayburn was overwhelmed by Saltillo (Saltillo, TX), 50-27, in a non-league battle.
