The Corinth Holders Pirates basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Clayton Comets to 16 in the Pirates non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Raleigh for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Corinth Holders will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-25 non-league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Comets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Cleveland prevailed over Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC), 38-25, in a non-league contest.
