The Northwest Guilford Vikings basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Western Guilford Hornets to 38 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Northwest Guilford will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 43-25 non-league win over Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-0.
The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Southwest Guilford was outscored by Page (Greensboro, NC), 44-40, in a non-league contest.
