George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rebels confront the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. George County will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS).

The Hornets now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to George County for a 5A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, January 12.
