The Denbigh Patriots basketball team (Newport News, VA), was routed 87-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA)

The Phantoms now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton for a battle on Friday, December 16. Phoebus will battle a Crabbers team coming off a 59-54 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers record now stands at 1-3.

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
