East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC), 33-26 in a league bout.

With the win, East Wake upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to clash with the Golden Falcons in a bout on Friday, December 16. The Golden Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-3. C.B. Aycock lost 45-40 in their recent non-league bout against Hunt (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Saints clash with the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Southern Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
