Riverdale Cowboys (Riverdale, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA), 25-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Riverdale upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Tranquillity (Tranquillity, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Tranquillity won 24-22 in their recent non-league bout against Laton (Laton, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Fresno Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 44-30 non-league win over Sanger West (Fresno, CA).
