With the victory, South Johnston improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Triton (Erwin, NC) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Triton won 57-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 45-40 non-league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
