The Swansboro Pirates basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting West Craven Eagles to 43 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heide Trask for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Swansboro will battle a Titans team coming off a 38-37 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Titans record now stands at 2-3.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Havelock was nudged by New Bern (New Bern, NC), 38-37, in a non-league contest.
