Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 53-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheatmore upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Eastern Randolph lost 77-30 in their recent non-league bout against Williams (Burlington, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC).
