In Tuesday's league battle, the host The Webb Schools Gauls soccer squad scored a close 8-2 triumph over the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles.
The Gauls (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Providence (Burbank, CA). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Fighting Lancers come into the San Joaquin battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Western Christian was overwhelmed by Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA), 5-0, in a league battle.
