The Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) basketball nipped the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 74-72 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mighty Bookers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs go into the Eastern test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Manor was tipped by Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 51-45, in a league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lake Taylor for a Eastern test on Friday, December 15. Norcom will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 61-21 league win over Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.
