The Marion Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Catholic Central Sabers to 15 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brethren for a West Michigan D contest on Friday, December 15. Marion will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 70-21 league win over Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.

The Sabers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI). The Lakers enter the West Michigan D contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Bear Lake was routed by Pentwater (Pentwater, MI), 65-33, in a league contest.
