North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter topples East Rutherford

December 13, 2023: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), by a count of 70-59.

The Raptor (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC). The Christian Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 0-7 record.

The Cavaliers now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brevard for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills outing on Friday, December 15. East Rutherford will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.
