Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), 68-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lakewood upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Lancers travel to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Cabrillo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
