With the win, Betsy Layne upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY) to clash with the Jaguars in a District 58 bout on Friday, December 15. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Floyd Central won 56-34 in their recent non-league bout against Belfry (Belfry, KY)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Wolfe County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 57-33 non-league loss to Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY).
