Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Coudersport Falcons (Coudersport, PA), 42-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Port Allegany upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Gators host Johnsonburg (Johnsonburg, PA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Johnsonburg lost 55-49 in their recent non-league bout against Eisenhower (Russell, PA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Ridgway Elker (Ridgway, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Coudersport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Elker go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 44-22 non-league win over Clarion Area (Clarion, PA).
