The Prout Crusaders basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 43 in the Crusaders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Division 2 contest on Friday, December 15. Prout will meet a Kilties team coming off a 71-32 league loss to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 0-1.

The Thunderbolts (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders enter the Division 2 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Shea was nudged by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 52-35, in a league contest.
