The Somerset Eagles basketball team (Somerset, PA), was overwhelmed 59-19 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA)

The Rangers now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westmont Hilltop for a Laurel Highlands battle on Friday, December 15. Forest Hills will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 70-50 league win over Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-0.

The Eagles (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams come into the Laurel Highlands battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Richland was overwhelmed by Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA), 60-33, in a league battle.
