GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH), 52-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, GlenOak upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to McKinley (Canton, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Federal bout on Saturday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-4. McKinley lost 65-50 in their recent league bout against Lake (Uniontown, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 37-24 non-league win over Aquinas (Louisville, OH).
