In Wednesday's league outing, the Schoharie Storm (Schoharie, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY), by a count of 46-24.

The Storm (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Wolves go into the Section 2 Western outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville was crushed by Mayfield (Mayfield, NY), 65-49, in a league outing.

The Knights now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northville for a Section 2 Western outing on Friday, December 15. Middleburgh will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 60-24 league win over Canajoharie (Canajoharie, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 4-1.
