Ohio High School Basketball - Norton tops Springfield

December 13, 2023: Norton, OH 44203

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) and the visiting Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), saw Norton's basketball squad knock off Springfield by a tally of 50-35.

With the victory, Norton improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH) to play the Colts in a Metro challenge on Friday, December 15. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Cloverleaf lost 42-36 in their recent league challenge against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the Ravenna Ravens (Ravenna, OH) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, December 15. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 41-23 league win over Coventry (Akron, OH).
