Virginia High School Basketball - Northside tipped by Liberty

The Liberty Minutemen basketball team scored 30 points and held the visiting Northside Vikings to 25 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Minutemen now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson Forest for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Liberty will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 60-11 non-league win over Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-1.

The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Hidden Valley nudged William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 35-20, in a non-league contest.
