Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Yelm upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tornados travel to Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA) to play the Seahawks in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Seahawks play the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a bout, on Friday, December 15. Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
