Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Toros confront the Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Mountain View will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ).

The Bruins now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host San Luis for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9.
