The Imlay City Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Algonac Muskrats to 20 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Pontiac Academy for Excellence for a non-league game on Monday, December 16.

With the loss, Algonac falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Muskrats travel to Armada (Armada, MI) to confront the Tigers in a Blue Water Area game on Thursday, December 19. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 3-1. Armada won 51-38 in their recent league game against Almont (Almont, MI)
