The Alvirne Broncos basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Manchester Memorial Crusaders to 45 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Goffstown for a Division I game on Monday, December 16. Alvirne will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 74-60 league loss to Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Manchester Memorial falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Keene (Keene, NH) to confront the Blackbirds in a Division I game on Monday, December 16. The Blackbirds go into the game with a record of 1-0. Keene won 72-68 in their recent league game against Merrimack (Merrimack, NH)
