The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) and the visiting Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), observed Bay's basketball team overwhelm Piggott by a score of 84-38.

The Yellowjackets (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Cross County was routed by Rector (Rector, AR), 84-65, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mohawks encounter the Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Piggott will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 52-47 league loss to Corning (Corning, AR).
