In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Berkeley Springs Indians basketball team scored a close 52-45 win over the Clear Spring Blazers.
The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Bishop Walsh was tipped by Hancock (Hancock, MD), 60-57, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Blazers battle the Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD) in a CMC contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Clear Spring will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 59-46 league loss to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD).
