Maryland High School Basketball - Hancock holds off Bishop Walsh

The Hancock Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Bishop Walsh Spartans to 57 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Hyndman Charter School for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Hancock will confront a Hornets team coming off a 60-9 non-league loss to Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Bishop Walsh falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Indians go into the game with a record of 1-0. Berkeley Springs won 52-46 in their recent non-league game against Grace Academy (Hagerstown, MD)
