In Friday's league contest, the visiting Owosso Trojans basketball team scored a close 66-61 win over the Brandon Blackhawks.

The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bendle (Burton, MI). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Bendle edged Beecher (Flint, MI), 69-63, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Kearsley Hornets (Flint, MI) in a Flint Metro contest, on Monday, December 16. Brandon will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 64-61 league loss to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI).
