North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans trounced by Camden County

The Perquimans Pirates basketball squad (Hertford, NC), was crushed 78-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC)

With the victory, Camden County advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bruins travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to meet the Panthers in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 1-3. Pasquotank County lost 87-66 in their recent non-league battle against Washington County (Plymouth, NC)

The Pirates now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holmes for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. Perquimans will meet a Aces squad coming off a 65-57 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Aces record now stands at 4-1.
