The Peabody Warhorses basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Captain Shreve Gators to 35 in the Warhorses non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warhorses now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Savior Menard for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Peabody will play a Eagles team coming off a 54-29 non-league loss to Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Captain Shreve falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Gators enter the match with a record of 6-5. Beau Chene won 47-36 in their recent non-league match against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)
