In Friday's league contest, the visiting Charleston Tigers basketball team scored a close 53-50 win over the Mansfield Tigers.
The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR). The Trojans come into the 3A Region 4 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Subiaco Academy edged Lamar (Lamar, AR), 68-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) in a 3A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Mansfield will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 49-36 league loss to Lavaca (Lavaca, AR).
