Alabama High School Basketball - Cherokee County knocks off Piedmont

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cherokee County Warriors basketball team scored a good 68-60 win over the Piedmont Bulldogs.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Tigers come into the 4A Area 12 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Cleburne County was topped by Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 80-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL) in a 3A Area 12 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 61-37 league loss to Glencoe (Glencoe, AL).
