The Jackson County Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Clarke Central Gladiators to 59 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Habersham Central for a AAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, December 17. Jackson County will confront a Raiders team coming off a 62-60 non-league win over Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Clarke Central falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 5-3. Greater Atlanta Christian won 69-45 in their recent league game against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA)
