The Clinton County Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Metcalfe County Hornets to 48 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland County for a District 16 game on Tuesday, December 17. Clinton County will play a Panthers team coming off a 57-56 league win over Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Metcalfe County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY) to play the Lakers in a District 16 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Lakers go into the game with a record of 2-2. Russell County won 83-38 in their recent non-league game against Casey County (Liberty, KY)
