The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) and the visiting Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL), observed Colbert County's basketball team knock off Rogers by a score of 69-59.

The Indians (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Collinwood (Collinwood, TN). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Clements Colts (Athens, AL) in a 3A Area 16 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 91-47 league loss to Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL).
