Indiana High School Basketball - Lafayette Central Catholic knocks off Covington

December 13, 2024: Lafayette, IN 47909

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lafayette Central Catholic Knights basketball team scored a good 47-38 win over the Covington Trojans.

The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory dropped by Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN), 57-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Covington will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Chargin' Chargers come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 66-55 non-league loss to Seeger (West Lebanon, IN).
