The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Goodpasture Christian Cougars (Madison, TN) and the visiting Davidson Academy Bears (Nashville, TN), observed Goodpasture Christian's basketball team overwhelm Davidson Academy by a score of 98-45.

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN). The Cougars come into the Division II-A Middle District 4 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Clarksville Academy was routed by Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN), 69-59, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the Dickson County Cougars (Dickson, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Davidson Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
