The South Lenoir Blue Devils basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Dixon Bulldogs to 39 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. South Lenoir will confront a Dark Horses team coming off a 80-48 non-league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Dixon falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Titans go into the game with a record of 1-6. Heide Trask lost 64-51 in their recent league game against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC)
