In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting East Hickman County Eagles basketball team scored a close 60-53 triumph over the Waverly Central Tigers.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Wayne County was tipped by Richland (Lynnville, TN), 68-65, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Hickman County Bulldogs (Centerville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Waverly Central will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
