The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Edmeston Central Panthers (Edmeston, NY) and the host Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY), observed Edmeston Central's basketball team overwhelm Schenevus Central by a margin of 76-32.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton (Gilbertsville, NY). The Raiders come into the Section 4 Tri-Valley challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton was trounced by Milford Central (Milford, NY), 57-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Worcester Wolverines (Worcester, NY) in a Section 4 Tri-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Schenevus Central will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 58-12 non-league win over Hunter-Tannersville (Tannersville, NY).
