Georgia High School Basketball - Emanuel County Institute falls to Screven County

The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs basketball squad (Twin City, GA), was outscored 73-64 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA)

With the victory, Screven County advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Gamecocks host First Preparatory Christian Academy (Hinesville, GA) to meet the Highlanders in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Highlanders enter the battle with a record of 3-0. First Preparatory Christian Academy won 65-50 in their recent non-league battle against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McIntosh County Academy for a A D2 Region 3 battle on Tuesday, December 17. Emanuel County Institute will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 72-68 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-2.
