Ohio High School Basketball - Point Pleasant nips Fort Frye

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) and the host Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH), observed Point Pleasant's basketball team edge Fort Frye by a margin of 44-43.

The Big Blacks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Poca (Poca, WV). The The Dots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Poca was tipped by Nitro (Nitro, WV), 70-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cadets battle the Morgan Raiders (McConnelsville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Fort Frye will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
