In Friday's league contest, the visiting Gainesville Cardinals basketball team scored a big 66-30 triumph over the Osbourn Eagles.
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom (South Riding, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Freedom was trounced by Patriot (Nokesville, VA), 66-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Osbourn will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 54-47 non-league win over Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA).
