Nebraska High School Basketball - Morrill nips Garden County

December 13, 2024: Morrill, NE 69358

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Morrill Lions basketball team scored a close 37-32 win over the Garden County Eagles.

The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kimball (Kimball, NE). The Longhorns come into the C2 District 12 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Kimball edged Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 68-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Garden County will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 40-39 non-league loss to Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE).
