Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield holds off Great Bridge

The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Great Bridge Wildcats to 52 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Grassfield will confront a Knights team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Marlins in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Marlins go into the game with a record of 2-4.
