The Greenon Knights basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Madison Plains Golden Eagles to 41 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Triad for a Ohio Heritage game on Tuesday, December 17. Greenon will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 68-46 league loss to West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Madison Plains falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Jefferson Township (Dayton, OH) to confront the Broncos in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 1-1. Jefferson Township won 43-26 in their recent non-league game against East Dayton Christian (Dayton, OH)
